Full Version: Mutations need highlighting

What a fantastic and addictive game.

I do have a suggestion to make the game more user friendly though...

When a disease mutates by itself, often the player needs to go to the symptoms screen to find out exactly what the mutation does, in case it's negative to the current strategy and needs to be devolved.
The situation presently requires the player to search for that last random mutation by clicking on icons until the correct one is found. It shouldn't be necessary to have to do that each time you need more information than the mutation alert gives you.

My suggestion is:
The last random mutation acquired should be highlighted in the symptoms screen, so the player will see exactly which one it is, with no need to search for it. Just a white border around it would suffice and would be in keeping with the colour scheme.

Agreed, something as adding "Show It" button into dialogue should do the trick Wink

That would be an excellent way to implement it even further, I agree.

Either a "show it" option or double clicking the dialogue box would work.
