Having searched thru forums i couldnt find any topic with The Puppet Masters key words, so i would offer you a hillarious scenario idea, based on the Robert A. Heinlein novel - The Puppet Masters. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Puppet_Masters

The story is amazing: alien parasite, able to control human mind and body has a ship, landed somewhere. They are spreading, evolving with time, developing new ways of distribution: infesting with existing species at earlier stages, airmailing eggs, duplicating. They also use animals and several alien species can ride on one host to spread at urbanized territories.

Other options are psycological pressure on noninfested population as well as mass orgies at stadiums, transmitted by satellite TV http://forum.ndemiccreations.com/images/icons/wink.gif

I believe the ending is not going to be so happy: deadly sympthomes,
emaciation
starvation
attenuation
consumption
leanness
inanition
distress
extenuation of human beings, that have absolutely no care from alien invaders, can easily wipe out human race )

Having read the Wikipedia article on it, this looks like an interesting scenario if it were not that an already existing disease, the Neurax Worm, sounds similar enough to not make that into a scenario.

Still i believe it's worth of its own story because
- no alien invasion is yet in game
- it has its own special abilities and looks like nothing else
- ways of distribution are also different, basing on story line
- it's got its own cure: another virus, that human kind has first to find and then to develop a cure from
