Y: The Last Man Plague - stuxmus51a - 21-07-2014 03:39 PM

Essentially it's all started by a plague which wipes out all men (bar one- Yorick) on earth. With only women remaining and just about half of the population wiped out, planes fall out of the sky, infrastructure falls apart and gangs start to form (Daughters of The Amazon, in particular- who go around destroying sperm banks). [Small Spoilers here] They try to put things back together but without men to create babies it won't last long, so they attempt some cloning. As well as that, the last remaining man (immune to the plague) runs about trying to go from the USA to Australia to find his girlfriend and make babies.

So, first you'd have to develop the plague and successfully wipe out all men, then destroy sperm banks and then cloning facilities, and finally find and kill Yorick before he reaches Australia. (Keep in mind, he'd only leave once he was the last man alive) You could possibly even throw in attempts from some of the remaining ladies to bed Yorick that you have to prevent. If you're successful there, good times, but if the cloning succeeds, you would then need to enhance your original plague to kill the clones.

Thoughts?

Sorry, but I don't see this disease in Plague. It would be too complex and hard to put it in the game. If so, a more likely scenario could be;:
1. First to kill of every mamal with chromosome Y,
2. Take control over as many women as possible,
3. Destroy all spermbanks,
4. Watch every human left slowly extinct,

Still I think it woudn't be very entertaining, unless there would be the option where you fight against the plague. Then there could be a cloning centre which you would have to protect as long as you can, then with about 1000 - 10000 men create colonies, kidnap women, increase the population and fight against the gangs. And you would win when you killed all the women, who were taken their own control.

This is a good material for the scenario - Ndemics should contact Vertigo/DC Comics about the idea Wink

But how would You imagine the whole mechanism in the game? They would have to add many, MANY options to enable this. It wouldn't be a bad idea though, if they added those "options" Wink.

Well it's not like it's exclusively their idea, there was a Slider's episode that did this. As long as they don't reference characters or specific settings, they should be fine to do with as they please.
