so with the random mutations I've only seen it effect the symptoms. is this by design or have I just not seen it randomly mutate other things yet ?
if it's only meant to mutate symptoms it seems a bit silly especially on the virus since they are known for randomly mutating new transmission vectors and drug resistances

There are unlockable genes which enable plagues to mutate transmitions or abilities.
