The world has fallen under threat. A virus has broken out and begun infecting the planet. However, one country stands between the virus and complete human eradication.
That country has designed a bug that can either prevent the onslaught of symptoms and/or heal those that the virus has infected. However, as the virus evolves, you must evolve your cure to match those symptoms. Otherwise, you may have a global endemic on your hands... or even worse, fail to save the planet.
This is pathological warfare on a planetary scale. World War III has begun, but without the need of nuclear weapons - no, this time the world's biggest war is being fought with the world's smallest infantrymen... for better or for worse.
