An idea, You start with the world fully infected, and a bunch of symptoms, abiities and transmissions evolved. Effectively the game starts at the end and reverses to the beginning, You need to devolve traits, and un-infect people in specific ways to ensure you have infected only patient zero by a specific start date window.
You basically need to work out how the disease infected the world in the time that it did, and reverse this process in order to win the game.
