I've found three strategies in this website (Plague Wikia).
I'd recommend the Darwinist + Viral Instability3 strategy. It helped me defeat Mega Brutal. Also, devolve somewhat fatal symptoms, if wanted. We don't want Greenland/Madagascar to shut their ports early. |

It's pretty much everything Helix-fossil said. Just dont evolve any lethal symptom until every country is infected, oh, and wait for the message "there is no healthy people", if you unleash hell before infecting everyone, your disease will kill more than it could spread, leaving some survivors. It has happened to me before hahaha
