Toxoplasma Gondii, A Parasite that breeds within the stomach of the cat and is transmitted though the cats feasies and then to the muscle tissue of rodents, it alters the neurology of the rodent making it more likely to be eaten by arousing it at the scent of cat urine.
Toxoplasma Gondii can be carried by humans and some studies suggest links to schizophrenia but overall the parasite is not taken seriously as it has adheres no threatening symptoms. Feline Transmission, Rodent Transmission, Bird Transmission, Bat Transmission, Livestock Transmission, Blood Transmission, "Toxoplasma gondii is an obligate, intracellular, parasitic protozoan that causes the disease toxoplasmosis.
