Its my second (or third,if taking the Frozen Virus conversion into accaunt) Special Disease idea..
It was inspired by the Mextrom disease from some book,the name of whitch I dont rememmber,and by the Tyberium concept.


A meteor falls on Earth....In it there was a crystal.The crystal is berried under the earth...The meteor was noticed by the locals,but soon forgoten....After some time,a strange crystal was found under a pine-tree...Then another..And another..Suddenly,there were hundreds of reports of crystals..And else...There were deaths...Corpses of half-crystallized people....

The crystall terraforms earth,mutates creatures and kills people

Transmission
Tier 1
1)Replication-the crystal replicates using neareby solid structures as a carcass
Increases ground transmission
2)Hydromobility-the crystal usese water vessels to spread faster
3)Atomised mist-the crystal zeleases toxic mist,consisting of atomised crystal.Increased air transmission.
Tier 2
1)Reconstruction-the crystal reconstrusts neareby earth,to suit the crystals needs.Faster ground transmission.
2)Water diffusion-the crystal contaminates water permanently.Faster water transmission
3)Steam craters-the crystal produces gas-craters,that explode,releasing huge amounts of mist.Faster air transmission
Tier 3
1)Molecular reconstruction-the crystal reconstructs all solid objects into crystal formations.Dramatically increases ground transmission.
2)Liquid crystal-the crystall rebuilds fluids.Dramatically increases water spread.
3)Gas reconstruction-the crystall reconstructs neareby air,constantly producing large amounts of mist.Much faster air transmission.

Symptoms
Tier 1
1)Cancerogenic effect-causes cancer
2)Bronhitical effect-constant coughing,faster transmission
3)Hemogenic effect-ruins blood vessels

Tier 2
1)Bone crystallisation-the bones n joints crystalize,immobilising people
2)Epidermis crystallisation-the skin starts crystalysing.Lethal.
3)Soft tissue crystallisation-organs and muscle crysstalize.Highly lethal.

Tier 3
Full crystalisation-the person becomes a crystalised corpse.Requires all previous symptoms.Unlocks tier 4

Tier 4
1)Liquidizing-part of the corpse liquidize,producing crystaline liquid.(faster spread)
2)Burst-some corpses explode,releasing large amounts of mist.(faster spread)



Abilities

1)Mutagenation-the crystall starts mutating flora and fauna
2)Full mutation-the crystall now finishes the mutation processes,produces mutants.
3)Mutated aggression-the mutants become aggressive.
4)Mutant horde-analogue of the Z-horde

Crysstaline Chimney-analogue of the spore burst,Mist instead of Spores.

Crysstaline Avalanche 1 -large amounts of crystall assemble into kilometer high towers,that fall onto healthy territories.

This is a player controlled ability,it works like a horde,but restricted to a fall radius,that is shawn by a red-circle
Crysstaline Avalanche 2-the towers become higher
Crysstaline Avalanche 3-the towers explode after falling,spreading crysstall shards.


The towers are shown on the map






Also,special mutant-upgrade abilities could be added...





The "picture" shows crysstals
The map shows contaminated territories cowered with crysstals


Crysstal points instead of DNA points


CDP(Crysstal Decontamination Project) instead of the cure.

There are 5 "cages"
Gigantomania-increases "Crystal Tower" size,mutants size
Radiation-the crystal becomes radioactive,increased lethality
Steam-the Mist production becomes more effective.more mist and gas
Atomic architect-faster structure assimilation
EMP-the crystals ionize,disrupting connections,slowing the CDP...




Big update 2.0
1)Crysstaline vulcano-a half-crysstalized working vulcano.This object appears in infected countries.Fast-tap it to produce crystal-missiles that fall into surrounding territories,infecting them and killing people.
2)Sonator-enemy horde-like unit.Destroys crysstals.Slows down infectivness in a country.Destroy this type of unit.
3)Sonator facility-enemy stationary object,produces sonators.Destroy it,to stop sonator-production.

Too. But mainly I've throught to use a contaminated satellite (hit by meteor contaminated with the pathogen), which crashes on Earth... (unknown origin should kick-in here).

The contaminated meteor falling in earth thingy is a pretty good idea for an scenario. But, in my opinion, the crystals idea doesn't sound like it fits Plague Inc.

Plague inc is about plagues...Plagues are events,when large groups of organisms (people,in our case) become infected with a pathogen... Its just to boring to have only microorganism pathogens...So I "invented" the Digi-virus,the Crysstaline Blight,and plan to "invent" a micro-plant stampede scenario...
